When I have been proposed a last-minute trip to Siena, I have been told ‘What are you going to do there again? You have already been there’ Well, I can assure you that my decision was the best one that I could have ever take. Why? I left a piece of my heart since the first time I saw it. I was 14 back then, give or take, and I was immediately drawn to this city like a magnet. I was drawn by its history, its art and culture.
As soon as you enter the city centre you are taken back in time, the medieval square has been declared UNESCO a World Heritage Site since 1995. Not bad right?
